2019 Fantasy Outlook
Smith finished third on the Gamecocks in receiving in 2018, but he was far from an afterthought. Smith caught 45 passes for 673 yards and four touchdowns on the year. With leading receiver Deebo Samuel leaving for the NFL, Smith's share of targets should increase, though Bryan Edwards will likely remain as the top receiving option. Still, Jake Bentley decided to return at quarterback, which should give the Gamecocks a potent passing attack, with Smith primed for a run near the top of the SEC. Even playing third-fiddle on his own squad in 2018, Smith finished 17th in the conference in receiving yards, and tied for 14th in receptions.
