Kharchenkov signed a three-year contract with Bayern, the team announced Friday via its official website.

ANALYSIS
Kharchenkov has been part of Bayern's junior program since 2018, and he has now officially joined the first team. In November of 2022 -- at 16 years old -- he became the youngest player ever to appear in a German league game, and this season he has averaged 22.6 points over 20 appearances with Bayern's second team while also appearing in four EuroLeague contests. He will likely play only a bit role during the upcoming campaign, but his opportunities figure to expand in the years ahead.
