2024 Fantasy Outlook
Corum doesn't have the conventional workhorse build at 5-8, 205, but he has a workhorse skill set in the sense that he's at least competent at every single thing an offense could ask of a running back. He looks like the kind of player that can provide whatever it is that a team might need in the backfield, though he's neither especially large nor fast (4.53 40). All the same, he had 4,148 yards from scrimmage and 68 TDs in four seasons at Michigan, with at least 247 carries and 1,245 rushing yards both of the past two years. The Rams took him in the third round this April, 83rd overall, after incumbent starter Kyren Williams had a brilliant but injury-riddled 2023. It would make sense for the Rams to sprinkle in Corum more and more as the year goes along, if only to keep Williams healthy. They might not even lose much when they take Williams off the field, as Corum is a similarly well-rounded player with the skills to make up for unremarkable athleticism. If nothing else, Corum looks like one of the top handcuffs at his position, likely sitting one Williams injury away from a starting role in a high-quality offense that has a track record for using its lead backs heavily and getting them into the end zone. Competition for Kyren Williams
The Rams selected Corum in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 83rd overall.
ANALYSIS
This is an interesting pairing, as Los Angeles found a diamond in the rough in Kyren Williams in 2022, but Corum was likely the best player available at this stage. Corum had a storied career at Michigan with 3,736 yards on 675 rushes (5.5 YPC) and a whopping 58 scores on the ground, including 27 in his senior season. He's a stout back at a shade under 5-foot-8 while weighing 205 pounds. He doesn't have blazing speed but has tremendous vision and runs with exceptional toughness to pick up yards. Pass catching won't be his meal ticket in the NFL, but it doesn't need to be with Williams picking up that part of the offense. Corum is a threat to take carries from Williams right out of the gate, and while this strengthens the Rams backfield significantly, handicapping this backfield will be a headache for fantasy managers.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Joining Williams in Los Angeles
Corum could serve as quality competition to incumbent running back Kyren Williams after the Rams selected the Michigan product with the 83rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Friday night, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Corum was a highly productive college player with the Wolverines, rushing for 3,657 yards at 5.6 yards per carry and adding 51 receptions for 338 yards over the 39 regular-season games covering his last three college seasons. A favorite of now Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh when the latter served as his head coach at Michigan, Shook notes Corum's excellent vision and ability to set up his blocks could carve out a path to playing time relatively early in his career, even if it's just in a complementary role to Williams initially.
